In 1979,Dr.Tondon was given the responsibility of the head of the office in "Akhil Kutch Samelan" in Mumbai. Out of his Busy Schedule he gave time for the research work about kutch`s mineral wealth and water,which is really appriciable.His research work started from 1950 and by 1979.He know every small detail of the Kutch.

         In 1979,He suggestion for Industrial development were so realistic & practical that results can be seen even today. For e.g.:- Exploitation of Minerals like lignite,china day,bentonite,bauxite,and many other small scale &large scale businesses and His dedication towards work and the Progress of kutch due to his knowledge is undoubtedly a blessing for the society. and the wealth hidden inside the earth.

      Even at the Age of 72 he is actively doing field work.He is also an expert water diviner,with the help of his stick he could clearly estimate the level of water.Thus his expertise and his devotion for development of kutch is Unforgettable.
