Lucknowi Kofta Curry
Ingredients:
For 6 Persons
  • 4 Boil Potatoes.
  • 1cup spinach (finely chopped)
  • 1cup coriander (finely chopped)
  • 1cup fenugreek leaves (methi) (finelychopped)
  • 2 tsp corn flour.
  • 1 sp ginger chilly paste.
  • 1 sp garam masala.
  • 1 sp lemon juice.
  • Salt to taste.
  • Oil for frying.

For Gravy:

  • 2 onion shredded.
  • 1cup fresh curd.
  • 1cup milk.
  • 2 tsp fresh cream.
  • ½ sp sugar.
  • ½ sp turmeric.
  • 4 tsp ghee.
  • Salt to taste.
  • 6 cloves of garlic & 1 piece of ginger paste.


 

For cashew nut paste:

  • 2 tsp cashew nut.
  • 2 tsp cucumber seeds.
  • 2 tsp khaskhas (poppy seeds)
  • 1 onion (finely chopped)
  • 10 green chillies.

Method

For Koftas:

  • Smash potatoes properly.
  • Add all ingredients accept oil and mix it properly.
  • Make long koftas.
  • Fry them in oil.

For Gravy

  • Heat ghee in a pan.
  • Add onion and cook them till they turn golden.
  • Add ginger garlic paste and cook for some time.
  • Add cashew nut paste.
  • Add milk, curd, fresh cream, turmeric, sugar and salt.

For Serving

  • Add koftas in the gravy and spread coriander on the gravy.
  • Serve it hot with parathas and rice.
