Carrot & Peas Pulav
 Ingredients:
  • Rice - 300 gm
  • Carrots - 60 gm
  • Green Peas (Shelled) - 40 gm
  • Cumin seeds - 1 tsp
  • Turmeric Powder - 1 tsp
  • Bay leaves - 2
  • Oil - 2 tbsp
  • Salt - as per taste

Method:
  • Wash and soak rice for an hour.
  • Drain well and keep aside.
  • Wash, peel and dice carrots.
  • Heat oil in a pan & add bay leaves and cumin seeds and cook for ½ a minute.
  • Add turmeric powder, carrot and green peas and cook for 3 minutes.
  • Add rice and 600 ml water.
  • Add salt, mix well, cover and cook till done.
