Poha
 Ingredients:
  • 1½ cup poha.
  • 1 large onion chopped.
  • 4 green chilies halved.
  • 1 tsp. lemon juice.
  • ¼ tsp. sugar.
  • 1 tbsp. grated coconut.
  • 1 tbsp. peanut crushed.
  • ½ tsp. each cumin & mustard seeds.
  • 1 tbsp. oil.
  • salt to taste.
Method:
  • Wash poha gently till the water drained is clear.
  • Drain the water and keep aside for 10 minutes.
  • Loosen the poha gently with fingers and sprinkle some water.
  • Keep aside for 10 more minutes and loosen again.
  • Add the peanut powder, salt, sugar, turmeric, lemon juice and mix well.
  • Heat oil in a pan. Add cumin & mustard seeds & allow spluttering.
  • Add onion, potatoes and chilies.
  • Stir-fry till the potato is tender.
  • Add the mixed poha, and stir gently.
  • Cover and cook on low for 3-4 minutes, stirring in between.
  • Mix in the coconut and chopped coriander.
  • Serve hot.
