The process at the crematory was completed in about 45 minutes as this facility's time was limited. Community friends in the mean time were requested to go to another hall where light lunch was arranged. Many of them did come there and stayed for couple more hours so as to be with the family members after they came back from the crematory. Every one dispersed by 4.30 PM.
Current/ Future Status (from Darshi Shah - Jayesh's sister-in-law) :
The discovery of Jayesh's remains has provided a closure to this tragedy that we needed and were grateful for. There are so many other families that will never have this type of closure. Some answers have come out of this situation, and some answers the family would like to keep private. We thank you for your respect of our privacy.
We know that his remains were not burned, and he did not have to suffer the pain that so many other victims did. We understand that he died as a result of the building collapsing or smoke inhalation. His building was the last to collapse. We feel that after the airstrike, he went into a mode of fast thinking and decision making for he and any group of co-workers with him. He would try to help as many co-workers that he could reach. He would strategically exhaust all escape avenues one after another. He would operate as fast as his physical abilities, while thoughts of his family and friends would be stirring in his mind. He would always believe that he would come home to us. He would never let his mind falter and think the worst... not for a single second.
We continue to thank all the support and prayers coming our way. Our community has united to provide our family with the strength of such a large family that we can lean on for all our needs. There is no way to thank you enough. Below is the information for the Houston memorial
