by the State Govt. in India from 1982 till now.
Prepared plans for converting solid waste into compost, Bombay Municipal
Corporation - March 1982.
1. Conducted various research studies for the United Nations for several
Third World Countries and for Bombay Municipal
Corporation. Major topics include; energy planning, food and
nutrition, afforestation, water resources and sewage control, recycling
waste, housing development, urbanization
transportation, recreation, disaster management, EIA studies for
industries, industrial safety, etc.
2. Is preparing a 25-year plan for Asian Environment Planning for the
Korean Government. The preparation of this will
follow a meeting in July of 1992 by ministers and experts to prepare the
policies and action plans for this year.
3. Researcher studying urban environment at San Juan, Puerto Rico.
4. A study of the hospital environment , Bombay municipal Corporation
- Jan. 1983-Dec. 1983
5. A study of conversion of sewage for food production in Kuala Lumpur,
Malaysia, UNEP project - June 1985-Sep. 1985.
6. Conducted a major study on environment, disaster and disaster management
in Bhopal, December 1984.
7. Conducted several environmental and safety studies on more than 25
industries from Feb. 1981 to Jan. 1991.
8. Prepared development plans for housing, recreational areas, buildings
and many other such projects (Sept. 1980
till present).
9. Conducted a major environment impact study of a bridge to be constructed
between the city of Bombay and the
mainland.
10. Maharashtra State Govt., April to December 1983.
11. Conducted major study on Large Cities on the Developing World for
UN Center for Human Settlement, Nairobi,
Kenya, during Feb-Dec. 1983.
12. A major study on Future of Urbanization in India as part of Second
India Series, Ford Foundation, 1977.
